At Wisper ISP, we're hiring a strategic leader to lead teams in maintaining high-speed internet towers. As our full-time Internet Tower Manager, you'll keep our field operations efficient and pave the way for business growth and expansion. When you join us, you'll receive:

• Salary of $65,000 - $75,000/year with a $2,500 signing bonus - receive half upon hire and the second half after 6 months of employment

You'll be on the second shift, and you can work from home! You just need to be close enough to one of our Illinois or Missouri offices to come in as needed.

YOUR IMPACT AS OUR INTERNET TOWER MANAGER:

You'll work the second shift from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, overseeing others' work to ensure everything meets timelines, quality standards, and company expectations. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

• Managing your crew's schedules and maximizing daily efficiency
• Notifying customers about planned maintenance
• Collaborating with other departments to identify network maintenance needs, find locations for new towers, and support special projects
• Meeting equipment, training, and workload needs while staying within budget
• Maintaining high-quality standards and a safe work environment
• Assisting HR with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Performing management duties like coaching employees, leading meetings, approving time off, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Providing ongoing team training and updating materials as needed
• Communicating with field personnel and addressing concerns
• Forecasting large construction project timelines and tracking job progress

REQUIREMENTS:

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of tower climbing experience
• Ability to climb 1,000 ft. towers and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to complete tower training within 90 days of hire and maintain required certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Ability to come into the office as needed
• Punctuality and dependability
• Leadership skills
• Excellent writing, documentation, and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to safety, quality, and service reliability
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
• Legal authorization to work in the US

Our Ideal Internet Tower Manager:

• 2+ years of professional experience with scheduling and Telecom/ISP
• Experience managing budgets and controlling resources
• Leadership experience
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency
• Knowledge of cell site design, foundation design, grounding, fencing, and tower erection
